Do your LED bulbs have a low and a high beam?
Yes, the LED bulbs have a low and a high beam that are functionally identical to the original Sealed beam headlights.
Are the lens plastic or glass?
The front lens is made of glass in all of our Headlight Kits.
Are these headlights DOT approved?
These E-code spec headlights exceed all European and Canadian standards for street use, and are widely considered superior to U.S. spec headlights. Unfortunately the U.S. DOT never adopted the European standard (nor did they set their own), leaving a hole in the regulations. As a result, all H4’s (even E-code ones) must be designated as “for offroad use only” if sold in the U.S. Compliance with local laws is the buyer’s responsibility.

The led headlights fit my 73 Super Beetle like a glove. The new lights have improved my visibility 100% and I think tthey make the car look a little bit better at night. Additionally, the flat, flush bulb design looks great. Thank you for an awesome product.
The low beam of the LED lights are as bright as my highs of the old Wagners I had. The LED high beam, holy Crap! they are Super beams! There are no street lights in my neighborhood and the high beam illuminated the night to daylight! Very cool.
I just installed a set of the VC2500’s on my 1970 Beetle. Wow – what a huge difference! I’m no longer worried about night driving.
